Survivor Extinction Island is the first season of Survivor and the second installment on The Retirement Home Series. Steph Reif beat Adam Seitz at Final Tribal Council by a vote of 7-0.

Production

Applications for this season were released on July 17, 2020. This season was hosted on Skype & Tumblr. Ryan Teddy hosted this season with Katie Cole and Jessica Wizard. The Tumblr Blog is Survivor: Extinction Island and the tag is #DigATunnel

Dig Site [ X ]: The Dig Site will be one of our sources for Reward in this game. Winning Reward Challenges will allow you to take some digs and find some treasures. Maybe you will find valuable coins, a Hidden Immunity Idol, or mysterious tome that will send the world into chaos! The mystery is exciting!
The Bazaar [ X ]: Welcome to the Survivor Bazaar! Everything you could ever want or need to become the next Sole Survivor can be found here! Below there are items listed with their prices. Sometimes there will be a description, sometimes there won’t. And the items at the Bazaar will change from time to time! If something disappears it might be because someone bought it, but my customers get confidentiality, so you’ll never know who has what.
- Magnifying Glass: When played at Tribal Council this items reveals all of the votes and who cast each one.
  - This item was used by Austin England during the Extinction Island Ep. 5 Tribal Council.
- Amber Piece: When played this item provides a tribe/individual a challenge advantage.
  - This item was used by Chris Provost during the Extinction Island Ep. 4 Immunity Challenge.
  - The Large and Small Amber Pieces were played by Xavier Padilla and Stephen Wynton respectively in Extinction Island Ep. 10.
- Hidden Immunity Idol: When played this item negates any votes cast for the person it is played at during Tribal Council.
  - During the Extinction Island Ep. 6 Tribal Council Nic Pereira played an idol on himself and negated 4 votes while Renier Gallogo-Palland played his on Stephen Wynton negating 2 votes against him. On the re-vote Matt Summers was voted out.
  - During the Extinction Island Ep. 9 Tribal Council Xavier Padilla played his idol and negated 3 votes against him sending Sierra Huff out of the game.
  - During the Extinction Island Ep. 10 Tribal Council Chris Provost played his idol on himself, however he received no votes at that Tribal Council. The idol diid however save him during the Rock Draw that saw Jack Connorz eliminated.
  - During the Extinction Island Ep. 11 Tribal Council Xavier Padilla played his idol and negated 3 votes against him sending Chris Provost out of the game.
- Rusted Sword: When played at Tribal Council this item slices the vote of another player, meaning they are not allowed to cast a vote or re-vote during that Tribal Council.
  - During the Extinction Island Ep. 10 Tribal Council Xavier Padilla used the sword on Stephen Wynton.
  - During the Extinction Island Ep. 11 Tribal Council Austin England used the sword on Adam Seitz.

Edgic & Boxscores

Edgic is a portmanteau that combines the words Editing and Logic. It is a concept that was originally devised by the good folks on the Survivor Sucks forums to try and determine the winner of each Survivor season based on the edit. Edgic assigns a rating to each player per episode based on their portrayal, the percentage of screen-time, and other varying factors. While Edgic was created to determine the winner, it is also a useful tool for mapping a character’s objective story arc throughout the season.

This data gives us two scores, their Survivor which is just a calculation of a player's challenge win percentage, tribal council percentage, and final tribal council percentage. It also gives us their Survivor Average which is a weighted version of the Survivor Score. Below you will find the boxscores for this season.
